What versions of high-security software are supported?

    Issues using Take A Test

    We have received reports of the screensaver starting even though it is turned off in the user settings.

    This behavior is implemented by Microsoft and is beyond our control at Exam.net.

    Therefore, we recommend using Safe Exam Browser instead. Please refer to the recommended version of SEB in the table below.

    Version requirements:

    Exam.net for iOS: Updates automatically.
    Exam.net for macOS: Updates automatically.
    Chromebook-app:  Updates automatically.
    Take-a-test:  Cannot be updated or installed manually.
    Newer versions of Windows 10.
    SEB Windows:

    Recommended: Version 3.4.1

    Supported: 3.5.0, 3.4.0, 3.3.1, 3.3.0, 3.2.0, 3.1.1.

    Not supported: Version 3.1.0 is not supported

    During 2022, the support for SEB 2.x was removed.



    We avoid changing the technical demands during the school term/semester. Only critical security updates will occasionally be done with short notice.
