Conduct an exam

Once you have created an exam or have been given a shared exam by a colleague, it's time to conduct it. Below, we have prepared a checklist that you can use during this step.

Preview the exam as a student before letting the students in, to ensure everything behaves as expected.
1. Students are granted access and enters the exam
Students enter an exam by entering the exam's exam key, followed by entering their student information, or by authenticating with their Google account (assuming the exam is connected to Google Classroom)
Before students enter the exam, the teacher needs to open the exam for access.
Students go to Exam.net and enter the exam key to connect to the exam. If the exam requires high-security mode, the students will be given the opportunity to proceed to the app of their choice.
Please note that students with Chromebooks will need to log in via the kiosk app in logged-out mode on the computer if they are to log in via high-security mode.
2. Monitor and conduct the exam
Through the monitoring view, you have access to everything you need to monitor the exam. You can access it by clicking on the "eye" icon next to the exam in the exam list or by clicking on "Monitoring/Results" in the main menu.

3. Exam submission
Students should always end an exam by submitting their work.
If the student is offline when it's time to submit, the student can submit while being offline.4. Marking and exporting
