Learn more about the settings for high-security mode here
To conduct exams in high-security mode, a lockdown application is required on the students devices. Which software to install depends on the type of device the students are using.
- For Windows computers, we recommend the Safe Exam Browser software.
- For Chromebooks, our Kiosk App must be installed.
- For iOS- and macOS devices, we recommend our Exam.net App, but it is also compatible with SEB (Safe Exam Browser).
Instructions for each device type are listed below along with the recommended versions.
Take-a-testNot recommended due to reports of issues with TaT. These problems are related to Microsoft and cannot be resolved by Exam.net.
