This question type can't be automatically marked.

An "Answer with an attachment" question type requires the student to provide a response that includes an attachment. You can use this question type if you want your students to add charts, graphs, handwritten solutions, etc.

Create an "Answer with attachment" question

1. Start by describing the task.
   
   
   
   
2. Specify the marking rules.
   
   Assign points for the correct answer.
   
   
3. Remember to activate the tool that the student should use in the exam settings.
   
   For example, one of the following:

• Drawing tool
• GeoGebra
• Desmos
• Scan handwritten solution
• Programming tool
