Common warnings when using the Exam.net application
1. Student receives the following message:
Running applications need to be quit
You need to close the following applications before launching Exam.net. Exam.net will now be quit.
To solve this issue:
In System settings > Share - control if the screen is configured to be shared with a remote. These should not be ticked, especially Screen sharing.
If this does not solve the problem, you have to force quit the process. The process that is not allowed to run is called "screen capture" and it starts automatically when you try to record the screen or take a screenshot.
A restart should solve the issue, but you can also open the Activity Monitor and force quit the process:
